NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) was founded in 1909 in response to the ongoing violence against Black People across the nation. NAACP is the largest and the most pre-eminent civil rights organization in the nation. Their mission is to secure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights in order to eliminate race-based discrimination and ensure the health and well-being of all people.

Smile Train believes that every child deserves the ability to smile with confidence. They are an international children’s charity with a sustainable approach to a single, solvable problem:cleft lip and palate. Cleft occurs when certain body parts and structures do not fuse during fetal development. Clefts most commonly involve the lip or roof of the mouth and many children never receive the reconstructive surgery they need. Children with untreated clefts have difficulties eating, breathing, hearing, speaking, and even smiling with confidence. With a simple surgery, the transformation and impact is immediate to allow a child smile.
